Holi is a time for revelry, feasts and colors. But it is no coincidence that it is during this time that problems about hair and skin witness a dramatic increase. Over the years, skin and hair experts have emphasized the importance of using natural colors and dyes but to no avail. So, how do you deal with this problem? Would you stop playing Holi? |

Obviously, not! But what you can do is take some precautions. The age-old, multipurpose coconut oil comes to the rescue here, too. Hair can turn brittle and extremely dry if color remains in it for a long time. This is due to the chemicals in the colors and the dust in the air. The exposure to the harsh sun and the colors present in the hair pose a threat to the hair. Though no damage is done to the roots or scalp, the hair begins to break.
